Of Karma and Corridors (Deluxe Limited Edition) (Black Rabbit #2)

The man lurking in the shadows has marked her as his--and he might be the very thing that saves her--in this darkly funny follow-up to Of Ink and Alchemy.

Ever since her past nearly destroyed her, Anna Kucera has kept a low profile. She operates by three rules: stay sober, stick to routine, and remain in control. A little boring? Perhaps. But it's safe, and she's not about to let anything--or anyone--threaten the sanctuary she's built for herself.

Casper Carrows won't let anyone get too close to him. The tattoo artist has learned the hard way: everyone leaves. But that doesn't stop him from wanting Anna when she comes in for a cover-up. She should be off-limits. Not just because she's his client but because she's a good girl, contained in her perfect little box. And he's reckless, impulsive, a mess.

When Casper sees the brutal scars on Anna's back, his curiosity quickly swells into obsession. From a hidden corridor inside her house, he begins to keep a watchful eye. And the more he witnesses of her carefully controlled life, the harder he falls.

Meanwhile, in Casper's studio, Anna feels a way she hasn't in years: alive. But opening herself up to him means facing the truth that, while his devotion is dark, his need to protect her might be even darker . . .
